Captive Jaguar by sam.crowther

I had a chance to visit Xcaret, a park in Playa de Carmen, Mexico. They have a captive jaguar. It lives on an island surrounded by deep moats that seemed to be about 10,000 square feet in area. I watched as this beautiful cat circled the little enclosure again and again. Maybe it's happy there. I don't know, but it seemed like it would be happier with more space. It sure was pretty though.
