You'll sometimes see guys dressed as Mayan warriors near the entrance of the site. After the pyramid and main landmarks, check out the stone observatory in the back, about a 10m walk from the pyramid.
Incredible place with a lot to see. It is huge and so beautiful. It is pricey, but worth every cent. You can pay part of the entrance with a credit card and $80 pesos need to be in cash.

Apart from all the souvenir vendors and the fact you cant approach any of the monuments, it is a beautiful place. But really come early, because from 11am the whole site is packed with tourists.
